SCENARIO DEVELOPMENT
Scenario development tests how a strategy holds up under uncertainty. Instead of assuming one future, it asks what happens if the political environment tightens, eases, fragments, or creates new supply-chain risks.

About KORALstrategy
About KORALstrategy
KORALstrategy analyses companies and sectors at the intersection of geopolitics, corporate strategy, and public affairs. The focus is on political and geopolitical developments such as export controls, industrial policy, regulation, security risks, and international economic competition.
The goal is not only to explain what is happening politically, but to translate those developments into strategic consequences: where leverage shifts, where exposure builds, where opportunities emerge, and which choices become more defensible under uncertainty.

To make that translation clear, KORALstrategy works through three analytical pillars: understanding the company internally, mapping the external political environment, and testing what different futures could mean for strategic choices.

The History
The History
KORALstrategy started as a way to develop a more practical understanding of how political and geopolitical developments shape companies, industries, and strategic decision-making.
Much of political analysis explains what is happening. I became more interested in what those developments actually change for organisations: where competitive pressure shifts, where exposure builds, and how strategic choices become constrained by external developments.
The project also functions as a way to continuously develop my own analytical thinking through applying classroom knowledge into functional analysis.

For now, KORALstrategy functions primarily as an independent research and portfolio project.
Over time, the intention is to further develop it into a practical strategic offering for organisations operating in politically exposed or geopolitically sensitive environments.
The long-term focus is not only on analysing geopolitical developments themselves, but on helping organisations understand how those developments reshape competitive conditions, strategic risk, and decision-making under uncertainty.
